In response to the recent loss of comedian, actor and humanitarian Robin Williams, we have decided to collaborate our Top Five Robin Williams’ performances over the years. And although the loss is tragic, he will continue to put a smile on our faces for years to come!
Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
This first one may be obvious, because it is a favourite for many of us! It taught us about the harsh realities of life and the importance of family, all while making us laugh hysterically.
Jumanji, a thrilling adventure film is another popular choice, and taught us “…that the scariest thing in the African jungle is the white guy with a gun.” – brainstatic.
Who could forget this childhood favourite?
Weapons of Self-Destruction (2008)
Moving away from family entertainment was Williams’ raunchy stand-up comedy (viewer discretion advised, but a very good laugh!)
In addition to his film and stand-up, Williams founded the Windfall Foundation with his wife supporting a variety of charities. He was also a long-time supporter of the St. Jude’s Children Hospital:
Keep on smilin’. 🙂
