I don’t know if any of you know who John Berardi is, but he basically made my life what it is today.
Now, I’m not CRAZY fit, but I like to think of myself as more than most. I’m healthy and I work out on a regular basis. When university hit, I had a hard time keeping the weight off. John Berardi was my motivation. I followed all of his work, read all of his articles and even tried to get him to be my trainer when I moved to Toronto (apparently he doesn’t do that 🙁 ) In any case, he is 80% of the reason I lost weight and have a healthy lifestyle, and he doesn’t even know it.
Today I wanted to share something that I think is a really good tool for anyone who is doing heavy workouts and has difficulty understanding what to eat and when. This is a great tool because it doesn’t say “everyone should do this.” It gives options based on your body type, your gender, your goals and your work out so you can make the right decisions for you.
If you haven’t heard of John Berardi or Precision Nutrition, you need to look him up or go here to his website. He’s got great programs for everyone, and has open discussions about things that everyone is talking about. Whether it’s the Kale Fad or even my favourite the Paleo Diet.
