As you must know by now, I’ve been doing the Paleo diet lately and trying to work out as much as possible. I found this inspirational video of an “overweight” mom of 32 who decided to go on the Jillian Michael’s work out plan, and she did the most amazing transformation! I put overweight in quotes because she’s borderline for sure. She looks fine when she starts, but as you see the transformation, she looks amazing and it makes me want to work out more!
There are so many things right and I love it!!
1. She puts it all out there. She takes pictures and she’s not afraid to show where she was and I think thats beautiful!
2. 136 pounds seems like a lot to people but as I’ve tried to explain to so many of my friends and family, the scale means so little when you have muscle. At 136 pounds she looks like what a lot of my friends strive to look like.
3. SHE GAVE BIRTH!! So many women get so discouraged once they’ve had a baby because it feels like such a painful process to get back to where they were. This girl shows that even after having a baby, you can look amazing!
4. It’s all about the journey and not the destination!! She keeps goals, and even though she looks great, it’s clearly not the end of her healthy choices. She isn’t about to just stop working out because she’s lost weight and looks great. She has another goal and she’s pushing.
WHOEVER YOU ARE, YOU GO GIRL!

Once you start working out, you get addicted to it almost! It becomes a habit and it’s something that you don’t want to stop because of the way it makes you feel.
So start!! It takes 21 days to make a habit, so don’t give up. Suck it up today so you don’t have to suck it in tomorrow!
