Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair – $28
I usually don’t buy the expensive hair products that stylists suggest as I’m paying for my cut and colour. But for this product, I made an exception.
For about two or three years now, I’ve been trying to grow my hair as long as possible without having it look all scraggly at the ends. As I was explaining this to my stylist, she told me that she’s trying to grow her hair out as well and does it by using Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair.
Here’s the thing:
$28 for 100 ml is not cheap, but you only need to use a small blob that’s about the size of a dime to see results. I bought a bottle of it five months ago and I still have at least three quarters left!
And here’s how it works:
It acts as a leave-in treatment and, according to Aveda, it “repairs damaged hair by 26%” with quinoa protein. It also detangles and helps to protect your hair from heat-styling with wheat protein and soy-derived oil.
In order for a dime-sized blob to be enough for your hair, no matter how long or thick it is, only apply the Daily Hair Repair to your ends. I use it on top of shampoo and conditioner, and it acts as an extra shield of protection to help keep my ends looking healthy.
Thanks to this product, I don’t have to go in for trims nearly as often as I used to. Now, my hair can keep growing both in length and compliments.
