MORE AB WORKOUTS!
Remember that time that I introduced you to Jess and her crazy abs! If not, Here is a refresher (as well as a few great ab exercises). Well here are some more ab workouts that will get you toned and closer to the abs you want!
1. Side leg lift – Obliques and Outer Thigh
This is pretty straightforward ab workout. Lay on your side with your elbow holding you up. Cross your ankles, and lift.
2. Plank with a leg lift – Abs, butt, hamstrings and lower back.
Make sure you keep your back straight as if you were doing a plank. If you need to make it a bit easier, go onto your hands instead of your elbows. Do 15 on one side and then switch. Repeat as many times as you can before you feel like crying.
3. Standing Side Crunch – Abs and Cardio
If this one is easy for you, up the weight and move faster. We typically use this as a cardio interval during circuit training. Keep your back straight, and the weight high. If you want to make it harder, just tap your foot to the ground instead of a full step. Do it for 30-60 seconds straight, with a weight. If you can get to 60 seconds without feeling like you’re dying, up the weight and the speed.
